New Year's Day

I can't beleive that it has been almost a whole year since I have posted to my blog.
Sorry I have been such a slacker. LOL
I would like to wish everyone a healthy, happy New Year! Hope that 2010 is everything that you want it to be. Hopefully it will be a fresh start for us all.

For Christmas I got a Kindle-ereader. It will be so nice when going on a trip or vacation to take one small device instead of several books to read. So far I have read one book and I am now reading my second book. I have been spending a lot of time on Amazon.com looking for what books are available to download. DH also gifted me with a gift card, so now I just have to decide on what books to buy.

Christmas was kind of quiet at our house this year. It was DD's year to have Christmas with her finace's family and my DS's family went to VA to visit his wife's family. We enjoyed a great time with my side of the family at my Mom and Dad's on Christmas Day and then celebrated with the kids on Monday, Dec. 28th when they returned.

Hope that all of you had a great Christmas with family and friends.

Just dropping in

Yes, it's really been a while since I have blogged, but I have decided to adopt the theme of blogging without obligation. LOL If I have the time to blog, I will and if I don't, I won't.

Here is is almost the end of the year. I really didn't have very many finishes this year, but I do work on lots of big projects, so what can I say? I think stitching should be enjoyed and not about how many projects you finish in a year.

My DD will be home for Christmas this year. She hasn't been home since March, so it will be nice to see her again. My son's family will be here this year, so it's always fun with the little ones at Christmas time.

So if I don't post again before the new year, I want to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you have a wonderful holiday with family and friends. I know that I will.
